Here’s a power tower that’s in a new class as far as bodybuilding and strength training. For this type of training, this tower can’t be beaten. In fact, it’s my personal favorite.

It features a 40.5’’x41’’ U style base and has a maximum weight limit of 1100 lbs. That’s because this is a power tower and squat rack in one unit. You can bet it’s made of heavy duty steel.

The Stamina Power Tower 1690 is a simple yet effective power tower that allows for pull-ups, chin ups, dips, sit-ups, and push-ups.

The sit-up station is a great feature because this unit does not have a VKR station. This may be one of the few towers you can’t use for vertical knee raises. Still, sit ups are a classic ab exercise.

The Stamina Power Tower 1960 features a sturdy steel frame. It has a weight capacity of up to 250 lbs, and it takes very little space. It is 81” tall, so you’ll want to make sure your room has high enough ceilings to handle it. Most rooms should be fine.

Weider – what an old name in the business! I can remember the Weider magazines from way back in the day; they were my first exposure to bodybuilding. It was then that I saw Arnold for the first time, and my life has never been the same.

You’re a bodybuilder or athlete that needs more upper body strength and size? Use the power tower as part of a balanced program of basic exercises and progressively heavier weight. Add in the right nutritional program, and you’re good to go.

Trying to get leaner? Combine these exercises with cardio work and lifestyle changes in the kitchen, and you can have the body you want.

After all, regardless of the class and category you compete in, you’ll want to present a total package up on stage. A good power tower fits right in with a goal like this.
